Mothers and children
The ongoing civil war has hit the poor country of Yemen hard. There are only a few medical centers left in the entire region around Tais-Al-Huban. With the establishment of the Mother and Child Hospital, the only inpatient facility in the region was created.
Through this offer and help, mothers and children have a chance to survive!
Construction of a Mother and Child Hospital with 134 beds and a gathering area for 450,000 people. There is a maternity ward, a neonatology ward and a ward for children under 5 years, who are malnourished or sick. Particularly high-risk pregnant women with high blood pressure, multiple births or breech presentations will find the help they need to survive their births in this hospital.
- The survival rate for difficult births has increased sharply.
- The medical staff is well-trained and prepared for difficult courses of disease and births.
- The chances of survival of premature babies have increased.
- The survival rate and medical care of malnourished children has improved.
